A Whispered Reminder

Overwhelmed.

Waiting for answers.

Daring to hope.

Longing for rest,

    for relief from the pain that rolls like waves, 

each deep and heavy,

The tears threaten to spill as the anxieties swell.

I don't look up expecting to find you there,

but you always are.

Like a whisper,

    you remind me that I am loved.
